Alafia zambesiaca is a medicinal plant used widely in Ghana for the treatment of gastric/peptic ulcers. The objective this study was to comparatively assess effect methanolic and diethylether extracts phytochemicals on three bioactivities indicative ulcers etiology. Using standard laboratory assays involving broth dilution, carrageenan-induced foot swelling 7-day old chicks DPPH radical scavenging, compared contrasted antimicrobial, antioxidant anti-inflammatory extract with that diethyl ether stem-bark zambesiaca.
